RFI Brings Motivational Speaker Chris Norton to NWIA Region

Nationally known motivational speaker Chris Norton will be headlining several engagements throughout northwest Iowa in the coming week.

On October 16, 2010, in Decorah, Iowa, Chris Norton was severely injured while making a tackle on a kickoff, fracturing his C3-C4 vertebrae. After being told he had a 3% chance of ever regaining movement below the neck, Chris has defied the odds every step of the way, demonstrating a faith and determination to overcome his circumstance that has inspired thousands.

Thanks to a partnership between the SCI CAN Foundation and the REALTOR® Foundation of Iowa, Chris will be traveling the state speaking to middle and high school students about the impact his injury had on his life.

Chris overcame the odds to collect his diploma from Luther College in Decorah by doing just what the doctors believed was impossible, and he continues to inspire audiences today with his message of hope and perseverance.

Chris’s story has been featured on Good Morning America, the TODAY Show, USA Today and many other national and local media outlets.  The video below outlines his incredibly inspiring story.
